Villard Hall was the second building opened on the University of Oregon grounds. It opened in 1886. In 1949, the University Theater addition was made to Villard Hall. The Eugene Hotel opened in 1925. It was the top hotel in Eugene until it closed in 1980. The building was placed on the National Register of Historical Places in 1982 and changed to over 58 housing in 1983.
Sketch Description The VRC Bridge connects the Whiteaker neighborhood and the Valley River Center over the Willamette River.
